Phillip Buchanon's Half-Brother Commits

I will not think dirty thoughts about handsome recruits.

On the very day he received a commitable offer, Cape Coral cornerback Jeremy Davis took it.

Davis called Wesley McGriff today and said, "Coach, I want to commit."

"He was like, `Are you serious?'" the 6'1", 172-pound Davis said. "I was like `Yeah!' He said, `You're a Hurricane!'"

Yeah! It's no surprise that Davis listed Miami as his "dream school" - his older half-brother is Phillip Buchanon. Of course, his other options so far were Syracuse and West Virginia, so, yeah...yeah.

"Phillip told me that when I get there it's all work and get ready for it," Davis said. "I went to a lot of games when he was there. I get compared to him speed-wise and cover-wise, except I'm a bigger version of him."

Sounds good to me. He's got the speedy down, anyway - Davis ran a 4.37-second 40 time at the Under Armour combine and has a personal best of 10.4 seconds in the 100.

NOM NOM NOM.

Now if someone could just tell me how to spell commitable/committable, we'd really have something here.
