Anyone heard any real news on Seantrel Henderson?
I'm hearing rumors that he is a strong lean to the Canes. Of course, there is nothing on the web confirmong this. I've just heard from other fans who are usually spot on with their inside knowlege (even though I don't know where they get it) saying to expect him and a few more big time recruits yet to come. Anyone know anything about Henderson or any other big names still available?

I think he could really get us over the hump, year one.
If he’s as good as they say he is, he’d be an upgrade over Fox, who was our best OLineman, immediately.

I would like to get more big uglies from the midwest.
Florida is great for skill positions, but we need those big bodies from the midwest on the line.

Saint Paul (MN) Cretin-Derham Hall High School OL Seantrel Henderson is set to take his final visit of the recruiting season this weekend.
It will be to Miami.
But don’t expect much to come out in public about the visit – before or afterward.
“He’s incommunicado now, is not talking to anybody,” Cretin-Derham Hall High coach Mike Scanlon said. “Even coaches that came last week weren’t getting on his couch – they had to come to school to met with him and his father.”
Scanlon says he’s never seen anything like the buzz surrounding Henderson. And that includes when Major League Baseball star Joe Mauer was at the school and being recruited for football and baseball.
“Even Mauer, it’s not been anything like this,” Scanlon said. “It shows you a good offensive lineman that can move is a precious commodity. Big time programs have found a way to get here.”
Scanlon said UM coach Randy Shannon is scheduled to visit Henderson later this week – it’s unclear right now if Henderson will host him at the school or his house. Lane Kiffin and Florida and Ohio State coaches are also set to visit the star 6-foot-8, 310-pounder this week.
“Everybody is trying to get something in before the deadline,” Scanlon said. “I’m not sure if anyone will meet him at his house – last week he only met coaches at school.”
Asked how Henderson is dealing with the pressure, Scanlon joked, “Well, he doesn’t need a new best friend.”
Scanlon added that “He’s handling it better than I would have way back when. Everyone is telling him he’s the greatest thing since whatever. He’s going to New York for some kind of live on TV signing day deal. When you think it can’t get any more grandiose, it does.”
So just how good is Henderson?
“One of the things I don’t know if I expected was, when he went to the Army all-star game, he held his own against the best in the country,” Scanlon said. "In the back of your mind you think you’re Minnesota football, not Texas, Florida, California. For him to go in against the best and represent himself very well, I thought, `Okay, the doubts were gotten rid of there.’
“Can he walk right into a Miami and start and play for three or four years? I don’t know. But he’s close to it. Nobody’s going to redshirt him I don’t think. I think he plays right away and I think after three years he’ll be looking at his NFL options.”
Henderson will play left tackle at the next level. He didn’t allow any sacks this past season.
“For the most part we ran behind him all the time,” Scanlon said. “We flip our line so we move him around and run behind him.”
Henderson helped his school finish with a 12-1 record and a Class 5A state title.

this guy is gonna start as a freshman no matter where he's at
so it goes without saying that he would start from day 1 here. they would move franklin back to guard (where he’s gonna play in the NFL anyway), washington to center (where he’s been taking snaps in practice) or maybe to right guard (i’m speculating now) and put the RT position up for grabs b/w bunche/jones/linder
BUT NOW I’M GETTING AHEAD OF MYSELF AREN’T I
