First Person to say "Don Soldinger" Gets Banned

Followed closely by "staff continuity."

Go.

Tommie Robinson resigned his position Thursday to take a spot on the coaching staff of the Arizona Cardinals, sources told CaneSport.

Robinson just completed his third year at Miami and will be making his second stop in the NFL.

Star-divide

From 1998-2000, he served as an offensive assistant with the NFL's Dallas Cowboys, working with wide receivers and special teams. While in Dallas, he worked with such noted NFL greats as Deion Sanders, Emmitt Smith and former Hurricane Michael Irvin. He also previously served internships with the New Orleans Saints, St. Louis Rams, Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins.

Robinson brought a wealth of experience to Miami and had a deep group of backs last season led by Graig Cooper, Javarris James, Damien Berry and Lee Chambers.

He came to Miami from the University of Memphis, where he stopped for a year following a four-year stint as an assistant at Georgia Tech (2002-05), where he coached under Chan Gailey, for whom he played at Troy State and worked under as an assistant coach with the Dallas Cowboys. At Georgia Tech, Robinson coached wide receivers for one season before becoming the tight ends coach.

Prior to his time in Dallas, Robinson spent three months at UNLV in 1998, four seasons at TCU (1994-97) and two years at Utah State (1992-93) as a full-time assistant. While he was at TCU, he worked with LaDainian Tomlinson, the All-Pro running back for the San Diego Chargers. Robinson began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Arkansas.

hmmm

Mike Cassano, the running backs coach and recruiting coordinator under Mario Cristobal at Florida International University, has emerged as the leading candidate to replace Tommie Robinson as running backs coach.

Cassano is believed to be having weekend talks with Coach Randy Shannon and if those continue to go well his hiring could begin being processed when the University opens again for business on Monday.

Cassano would be making his second stop at UM but he is familiar with offensive coordinator Mark Whipple. Cassano coached the running backs at the University of Massachusetts from 1998 until 2004. Whipple was the Head Coach through 2003.

Cassano has been at FIU as running backs coach and recruiting coordinator since Cristobal was hired in December 2006 after serving three seasons as a volunteer coach and graduate assistant at Miami.

i know this is a bitchy thing to post

but rivals needs an editor imo

“but” makes no sense in this sentence, and should be replaced with “and”. sorry but it was bothering me for 5 mins and i couldn’t let it go

Likewise,

“I know this is a bitchy thing to post” should never be followed by “but” but always “and.”
At least here.

As a person who can make one 600-word sentence in her sleep, even I am qualified to say they can’t write.

I cannot summon an opinion on this.
I’ve tried, but I’m just…blank. I guess RB coach is the least of our worries.

yeah i mean

whatever. the rivals article is hilarious cuz they try to make it seem like this when this dude was a grad assistant he was an integral part of baby j running for 900 yds as a freshman.

i guess it’s cool that he has a previous relationship with whipple. my first thought was “here’s a potential offensive coordinator candidate” but i’m trying to focus on the present
